Apple Watch Band Size & Fit Guide

Choose your Apple Watch band in two steps: match the connector to your watch, then check how the bracelet fits your wrist. The millimetre number on the watch describes the case, not your wrist circumference.

1. Identify your Apple Watch

Read the case size engraved on the back of your watch and note its series. You can also open the Watch app on your iPhone, choose My Watch > General > About and tap Model Number to see the A-number. Use Apple’s watch identification guide if you need to confirm the model.

2. Match the connector

Check the compatibility information and size choices on the individual product page. A connector must match your exact watch; the appearance of the watch in a lifestyle photograph does not establish fit.

Check 42mm carefully: original 42mm watches and newer 42mm generations use different connector groups. Give us both the series and case size if you are unsure which option to select.

3. Check wrist fit separately

Measure around your wrist with a flexible tape, or mark a strip of paper and measure it with a ruler. Compare that measurement with the specific band’s fit information. A band measured flat is not the same as the complete bracelet around your wrist, because the watch case contributes to the total length.

  • Stretch bands: compare the stated relaxed and stretched measurements and avoid overstretching.
  • Linked bracelets: check the stated fastening and adjustment method. Do not assume every link can be removed.
  • Chain and charm bands: check the slider, extension or clasp details listed for that design.

Questions before you order

Does an adjustable band fit every wrist?

No. Adjustment has limits, and connector compatibility is separate from wrist fit. Check the individual measurements or ask us before ordering.

Is an Apple Watch included?

These listings are for replacement bands. The watch and other styling props are not included.

How should I care for decorative bands?

Follow the product’s care instructions. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid immersion, perfume and abrasive cleaners unless the listing expressly states otherwise. Never force a connector or clasp.

Ask for help choosing a band. Include the product name, watch series, case size and wrist measurement. You do not need to send your device serial number.
